To my students and their parents,
Welcome to Health Education. It is my hope and expectation that this class will help to improve the learner’s health related knowledge and therefore, positively impact the learner’s current and future health. It is my belief that students learn best through experience, so active participation by all class members is required. The students will organize their work in a three-ring binder. A 1 ½” or 2” binder will do, and is needed by the fourth day of class. In this class, we will learn a great deal about the issues that affect our health and have fun doing so. I encourage parents to ask about what their child learned each day, and then discuss the issues.
Please complete the contact information below, review the course outline on the front and back or this page, sign, and return this by Friday. This counts as the first homework assignment.
